Chickens saved from the slaughterhouse.

Seven crates crammed with chickens heading for the slaughter house fell off a truck. A total of 66 chickens were rescued and they are now safe. Every single chicken was examined and a few are being treated for broken feet and torn nail injuries.

We are so thankful to have a found a temporary place for them to stretch and trot around. But these cuties are in need of permanent homes where they can live out their lives.
